Thuto Shomang is a treasury executive with more than 20 years of funding, liquidity management, risk management and capital markets experience.  His career spans corporate treasury, sovereign debt management, teaching and board governance.

As an Executive of MTN Group Treasury since June 2014, he leads funding, liquidity, debt and financial risk management. He previously spent 14 years at South African National Treasury leading sovereign funding, cash and debt management and investor relations.  His qualifications include a degree in economics and diploma in investment analysis and portfolio management.
