Sofiane joined DPI in April 2010, bringing extensive experience in private equity, M&A investment banking, and option trading. He previously served as Partner and co-Chief Investment Officer at Kingdom Zephyr Africa Management, a pan-African private equity firm linked to Kingdom Holding Company. Before that, he was a Vice President in JP Morgan’s M&A group in New York, having started his career at FleetBoston in Boston.

Named a Financial News 100 Rising Star (2008) and recognized by Jeune Afrique as Africa Private Equity Manager of the Year (2010) and an Africa Leader of Tomorrow (2013), Sofiane holds a Master’s from Brandeis University’s International Business School and a Maîtrise in Management from Paris-Dauphine University. Born and educated in Algeria, he holds both Algerian and French citizenship.
