Imen EL Arbi is the Director of Research, Macro-Prudential Supervision, and International Cooperation at the General Insurance Committee (CGA) in Tunisia. She holds a specialized Master’s degree in Insurance from the Institute of Financing and Development of the Maghreb Arab (IFID) and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Institute of Advanced Business Studies (IHEC) in Carthage. She has led several key projects, including the implementation of IFRS standards for insurance companies, the establishment of a legal framework for Takaful insurance, and macro-prudential supervision of the insurance sector. She is also involved in international cooperation initiatives and service liberalization efforts with partners such as the European Union and the WTO. Her areas of expertise include insurance, financial analysis, insurance law, and IFRS standards.
