Souleymane Diagne

Souleymane has more than 20 years of banking experience in Africa spanning from relationship management and corporate finance to trade and treasury solutions. He has extensive experience in arranging capital markets, bank financing, structured trade and project finance transactions across the continent. Souleymane currently manages the trade finance product suites for the Ecobank Group. Prior to this role, he was the Regional Head of Corporate Banking for Francophone West Africa (UEMOA) Region, covering Global, multinational, regional, public, top tier local corporates and financial institutions as well as international organizations. Souleymane also worked at Citi as Vice-President, West Africa Trade Head and Regional Head for Corporate Finance covering francophone countries and as Senior Relationship Manager. He holds a Master of Business Administration in International Management from Thunderbird – Global School of Management (Arizona, US) and a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences from University of Reims (France).
