Sokhna Maïmouna Diop

Sokhna Maïmouna Diop is Deputy Managing Director of Finance, Strategy and Transformation at Senegal-based Banking Company of West Africa (CBAO), part of Morocco headquartered Groupe Attijariwafa.

Sokhna has nearly seventeen years of experience in the banking sector. She joined CBAO, Attijariwafa bank Group in 2012 as Director of Strategy and Performance Management to capitalize on her international experience and support the emergence and dynamism of a new generation of African bankers.

Prior to joining CBAO Attijariwafa bank Group, Sokhna has experienced a successful international career in structured finance based in Paris for 5 years and pursued as Chief Operating Officer for Principal finance and Equity in London. Sokhna holds a master’s degree in Banking, Financing and Insurance from Paris Dauphine University.
