Richmond Bassey is the CEO/co-founder of Bamboo, an online brokerage app that allows Africans to invest in foreign asset classes in real-time. He is passionate about making investing work for all Africans to build intergenerational wealth. Richmond has raised more than $18M in venture capital including from prominent US investors Greycroft and Tiger Global. To date, Bamboo has more than 700,000 users in Nigeria and Ghana and is launching into South Africa and Kenya later this year. Previous to Bamboo, Richmond worked as the Chief of Staff at Helium Health.
