Mohamed WADE

Mohamed is the founder and CEO of Amandla Capital Real Estate (Amandla Capital), the first asset management company in West and Central Africa entirely dedicated to institutional investors’ real estate.

Amandla Capital develops and implements strategies to optimize the profitability and liquidity of institutional investors’ real estate assets in accordance with their investment strategy. Amandla Capital’s role is to align all internal and external stakeholders in the real estate value chain to enhance the performance of investments through stable-yield transactions (hotel, office, residential, etc.) and the monetization of real estate assets (bank-owned properties, sale-and-leaseback, etc.)

Mohamed’s career as an entrepreneur, investment professional and executive in emerging markets spans more than 30 years. Before Amandla Capital, Mohamed focused on direct SME investment and financial advisory services in West and North Africa. At the IFC – World Bank, he developed access to finance programs for SMEs and executed agribusiness debt and equity investments in Africa and Eastern Europe. Mohamed started his career as a manager in manufacturing and services in West Africa.

Mohamed sat on the board of directors of several companies in West and North Africa (fintech, education, etc.) and was an advisor to BMCE Bank of Africa’s inaugural African Entrepreneurship Award.

Mohamed holds a MSc in Finance (ESSEC) and graduated from Sciences-Po Paris.
