Michael AVOU

He started his career in 2006 as an Equity Derivatives Trader at Credit Agricole CIB before joining Ecobank in 2009. Michael was appointed Head of Trading for Ecobank’s French subsidiary, where he established the first sub-Saharan bank’s dealing room in France.

In 2016, Michael set up the frontier markets desk for ED&F Man Capital Markets in London before joining Societe Generale in 2021 as Head of Global Markets for Sub-Saharan Africa.
