Djalal Khimdjee

Deputy CEO, Proparco

Djalal Khimdjee has close to 20 years of experience in the fields of development and investment finance at an international level.

He started his career in the telecommunication sector with Alcatel Group in 1998 before joining Proparco’s infrastructure team in 2005.

From 2009 to 2013 he joined IFC’s infrastructure department as a Principal Investment Officer structuring various transactions in Middle East & North Africa.

In 2013, he became deputy head of AFD’s “Structured Finance” division before taking the position of Director of AFD’s department in charge of “Access to Finance & Structured Finance”.

Djalal holds a Master degree in Finance from ESCP Europe as well as an engineering degree in Telecommunication from the Institut National Polytechnique, Grenoble.
