Mr. Magloire HIOL heads Visa Government Solutions (VGS) for West and Central Africa, driving Visa’s investment in the development and operation of digital payment infrastructure for governments and public institutions across the region. His mission is to enable and support the modernization of public services at scale, delivering tangible benefits to citizens, enterprises, and governments alike.
Prior to joining Visa in 2024, Mr. HIOL served as Managing Director of PAIX Data Centres for Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, where he spearheaded the development of carrier-neutral data center infrastructure in Africa. Over the past two decades, he’s been involved in major digital transformation initiatives across multiple sectors, including telecommunications, payments, data centers, and messaging services. An alumnus of HEC Paris Executive MBA Program, Mr. HIOL lives in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
