Amine Ryane is a senior executive specializing in international business development, strategic partnerships, and reinsurance. He is currently Director of International Development & Partnerships at Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR), a subsidiary of CDG Group, where he leads initiatives to strengthen SCR’s presence in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia through key partnerships and market expansion strategies. In addition, he served as Vice President of SCR Academy Re, which focuses on delivering technical training programs primarily for African markets. The Academy plays a crucial role in capacity building, equipping industry professionals with advanced reinsurance knowledge and reinforcing SCR’s engagement with its clients and stakeholders.
Amine is also Director of the African Centre for Catastrophic Risks, an entity of the African Insurance Organization, where he contributes to the development of research initiatives dedicated to catastrophic risk assessment and insurance solutions.
Previously, he held multiple leadership roles at SCR, including Director of Strategy, Marketing, and Institutional Communication, where he played a key role in the company’s transformation, branding, and international expansion. Before joining SCR, he worked as a strategy consultant at Banque Centrale Populaire, contributing to major transformation projects.
Amine is certified in reinsurance by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and holds various credentials in project management (PMP & CAPM) and Lean Six Sigma. He holds an Es. Executive MBA from HEC Montréal/UIR and an Engineering Degree from École Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs. He is also a visiting lecturer on reinsurance and the author of a book on PMO automation.
