Ngatia Kirungie is Head Secretariat of the Kenya Pension Funds Investment Consortium (KEPFIC), a consortium of Kenyan pension funds with approximately USD 5.25 billion in assets that have come together to jointly assess and invest in infrastructure and alternative asset investments opportunities in the East African region. He is also of Managing Director of Spearhead Africa, a Nairobi-based full-service financing and advisory business, Africa Leader of the Obama Foundation and Lead Housing and Infrastructure Finance Advisor to The Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP), a USD 300 million World Bank funded program to deliver improved housing in Kenya. Mr Kirungie is a seasoned professional who formerly served as Goldman Sachs’ Executive Director of Emerging Markets (Africa).
