Moubarak MOUKAILA

Director of the Environment and Climate Finance Department / West African Development Bank

With 17 years combined experience in development finance, project finance, climate and carbon finance, Moubarak is currently the Head of Financing Sustainable Development Department with the West African Development Bank – BOAD.

Additionally, Moubarak is the Project Director for the West Africa Alliance on Carbon Markets and Climate Finance and a Member of the Steering Committee of the Regional Collaboration Center for West and Central Africa a partnership between BOAD and the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).

Prior to his current position, he was the Head of Environment and Climate Finance Department, the Regional Coordinator of the Regional Collaboration Center for West and Central Africa, a center that supports the implementation of countries engagements and ambitions on climate change.
