Gilles TCHAMBA

Passionate about finance and driven by a desire to contribute to the economic development of the CEMAC zone, Gilles began his career as a lecturer in corporate finance at the École Supérieure de Gestion et d’Administration des Entreprises (ESGAE) in Brazzaville, his alma mater. His academic commitment reflects his deep conviction that knowledge and its transmission are the pillars of a solid and sustainable financial ecosystem.
In 2010, he joined Ecobank Congo, where he spent nine years as an asset and liability manager (ALM officer) in the Treasury Department. Building on this expertise, he continued his career progression by joining the United Bank for Africa (UBA) group in 2019 as Treasury Director. This experience reinforced his understanding of the financial challenges facing the region’s economies and fuelled his ambition to create solutions tailored to the financing needs of businesses and governments.
It was with this ambition that he founded the L’Archer group at the end of 2020. First with L’Archer Securities, which has established itself as a key player, then with the subsidiary L’Archer Asset Management, which now aims to have a portfolio of assets estimated at 65 billion CFA francs by 2026.
