Frédéric Maury is a Deputy CEO at Jeune Afrique Media Group, leading the Events subsidiary since July 2021. With a distinguished background in economic journalism, he served as editor-in-chief of Jeune Afrique’s business publications, during which he was a key architect in creating Africa Business +.

In 2018, Frédéric Maury joined the group’s events division, initially overseeing the AFRICA CEO FORUM’s program and content. As Deputy CEO, he played a crucial role in relaunching the Africa CEO Forum post-Covid, reimagining the event as a critical platform for African business leaders. He subsequently developed the Africa Financial Summit-AFIS, a pioneering platform facilitating dialogue between financial institutions, central banks, and fintech innovators.
