Bydon LONGWE

Bydon is a banking and finance senior executive who has over 27 years of experience in auditing, accounting, finance and banking. He has vast experience in leading large organizations, strategy development and execution, as well as business transformation and has worked in Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia.

He is currently the CEO of FirstRand’s Broader Africa operations, having previously served as CFO and CEO of FNB Zambia. He is passionate about people development, customer experience and adding value to society.

Bydon is a proud father of four sons, who he spends as much time with as possible. He is a certified Chartered Accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration.
