Risper Genga Ohaga is Group CEO of APA Apollo Group, a Kenya-based financial services group whose subsidiaries include APA Insurance, APA Life, APA Uganda, Apollo Asset Management, Gordon Court, and Reliance Insurance in Tanzania. She took on the role in July 2026 after serving as Group CFO and Executive Director of East African Breweries Limited (EABL) since February 2020.

An experienced finance professional, she also holds non-executive director roles at I&M Bank and APA Insurance. Prior to joining EABL, Risper served as CFO of Barclays Bank Zambia. She joined Barclays in 2008 as Regional Director for Internal Audit, moving on to Director for Africa in 2011, and later Managing Director for Africa RBB. Her time at Barclays followed a nine-year stint at KPMG.

Risper holds a BCom in Accounting from the University of Nairobi and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1993.
