Alain Nkontchou is the Co-founder of Enko Capital, an Africa-focused multi-asset manager, with $1.3 bln asset under Management, based in London, Johannesburg, Abidjan, and Yaoundé. He is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Enko Africa Debt Fund.
Prior to founding Enko in 2008, Alain was Managing Director in Global Macro Trading at JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse and BlueCrest Capital Management, between 1989 and 2008.
Alain was a board member of Laurent-Perrier, a leading champagne company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, from 1999 to 2009.
He is a member of the Acquisition Committee for African Art at the Tate Modern Museum in London (United Kingdom).
He is an overseas member of the Fondation Maeght based in Saint-Paul de Vence, France.
