H.E. Khaled Al Mabrouk Abdallah has served as the Minister of Finance of the State of Libya since March 2021.

Prior to his ministerial appointment, he was Executive Director of Financial Resources Mobilization and Investment at the Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (BMICE). He has also held leadership roles as Chairman of Jumhouria Bank and the Arab Agricultural Company – Egypt.

He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Alrefi Bank, the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), the Privatization and Investment Board (BIP), the Libyan Foreign Investment Company (LAFICO), and the Oil Libyan Company – Djibouti. Previously, he was Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Investment Promotion Fund in Africa.

H.E. Abdallah holds a PhD in Investment and Finance, a Master of Project Management (MPM) from Southern Queensland University, Australia, and an MBA from the University of Central Queensland, Australia.
