Daniel Nnomo Nti is a finance professional with a strong background in SME development, banking, and structured finance. He currently serves as Head of Portfolio, Business Development at the African Guarantee Fund (AGF), where he oversees the utilization of guarantee agreements signed with close to 250 financial institutions across 45 African countries. In this role, Daniel ensures that portfolio performance targets in terms of both volumes and income are achieved, while promoting the effective deployment of AGF’s guarantee instruments to strengthen SME access to finance.

Before assuming this position, Daniel held several senior roles within AGF, including Head of Region for Central and North Africa, where he led origination efforts. He previously served in commercial banking roles at BGFI Bank Cameroun and AFG Bank Cameroon, gaining extensive experience in SME financing and credit portfolio management.

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Finance from EMLYON Business School (France), graduated from Catholic University of Central Africa (Cameroon), and is a CFA Level III candidate. He is passionate about financial inclusion and private sector development. He continues to champion innovative financial solutions that empower African entrepreneurs.
