Dr. Oluwatoyin F. Sanni 
Founder/Executive Vice-Chair, Emerging Africa Group 

Dr. Oluwatoyin Sanni is Executive Vice-Chair at leading Pan-African Investment 
Group, Emerging Africa Group, a financial services group focused on investing in sectors 
with catalytic impact on growth and development, cutting across Investment Banking, 
Trusts & Asset Management, Microfinance Banking, Financial Technology and 
Infrastructure Finance which has been ranked as #46 on Financial Times’ 2025 list of 
Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies. 
Dr. Sanni sits on multiple boards including serving as Chairman, Layer3 Limited, Non- 
Executive Director, Transnational Corporation Plc and Member, Nigeria’s National 
Advisory Board on Impact Investing (NABII), Chair of the NABII Committee on Wholesale 
Impact Investment Fund (WIIF) and Member, National Finance Committee on WIIF. 
She is the Founder and Chairperson of Women in Finance Nigeria and Founder of 
WIFNG UK, a platform for advocacy, development, and networking of women in 
financial roles and financial services. Her other roles include Chair, of the Technical 
Committee on Financial Literacy and Member of the Investment Committee of Africa’s 
Off-Grid Energy Fund (OGEF). She also serves as an Ambassador for Nigeria for the Africa 
CEO Forum. 
She has extensive experience as a prominent Investment Banker, Business Leader, Public 
Personality & Speaker and derives satisfaction from grooming future leaders. She 
leverages networks across markets and her expertise in leading transformational 
initiatives and projects to achieve growth and development objectives. 
Dr. Sanni is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Owner President Management 
Program, the Lagos Business School CEO Program, and has attended other Executive 
Programs at the Harvard, Wharton and IESE Business Schools. In 2023, Dr. Sanni was 
awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Strategic Leadership & Inclusive Finance from the 
American Management University, California. She is currently in the final year of her 
Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), specializing in the Internationalization of 
African Family Businesses at the Paris School of Business, France. 
Dr. Sanni has won numerous awards including the All Africa Businesswoman of the Year 
AABLA 2017 by CNBC/Forbes, Nigerian CEO of the Year 2018 by Pearl Awards, Business 
Day Top 25 CEO (2014, 2015 & 2016), Tech Times African Influencer CEO, 2020 and 2021,
