Ms. Ortiz de Haas began her career in banking and stock brokerage with the BBVA Group in Latin America. She joined FMO in 2002, working on project and structured finance in Asia, and has been part of FMO’s management team since 2008. Angelica has held roles in operations, strategy, and business development, including setting up FMO’s Back and Mid-office for its banking license and leading the Sustainability team, where she oversaw FMO’s—and the Netherlands’—first green bond issuance. Since mid-2021, she has led FMO’s FI Africa team. 
 
Beyond FMO, Angelica has served on several boards, including Chairman and Board Member of Confoco, S.A., and Board Member at True Price. She holds an MBA from Erasmus University’s Rotterdam School of Management.
