Françoise Lombard is the CEO of Proparco, a development finance institution (DFI) and subsidiary of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD Group), providing private sector financing to support sustainable economic growth in emerging and developing markets. Françoise Lombard has held senior roles in the French Ministry of Finance and the Government Shareholding Agency, working on public finance, state investments, and development cooperation, particularly in West Africa. Before joining Proparco in 2022, she served as AFD Group’s Chief Financial Officer. She graduated from Sciences Po and is an alumna of the INSP (former ENA).
