{"id":471422,"date":"2026-09-08T17:05:44","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T16:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.afis.africa\/sb_speaker\/sofiane-lahmar\/"},"modified":"2026-10-22T09:35:15","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T08:35:15","slug":"sofiane-lahmar","status":"publish","type":"sb_speaker","link":"https:\/\/www.afis.africa\/en\/sb_speaker\/sofiane-lahmar\/","title":{"rendered":"Sofiane LAHMAR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sofiane Lahmar joined DPI in 2010 and is the CEO of the Firm after serving as senior Partner and Head of the Investment Team. \u00a0Sofiane has over 20 years of experience in African PE, alongside extensive expertise in finance, including in private equity, M&amp;A investment banking, and option trading.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining DPI, he was a Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Kingdom Zephyr Africa Management (KZAM), a Pan-African private equity investment firm majority-owned by Kingdom Holding Company, the investment vehicle of HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Earlier in his career, Sofiane served as a Vice President in the M&amp;A group at J.P. Morgan in New York, where he helped advise on over US$25 billion worth of M&amp;A transactions.
