Samira Mensah is Managing Director Research & Analytics Africa and Country Head – South Africa. She is responsible for S&P Global Ratings\u2019 thought leadership and market outreach strategy across the continent.<\/p>\n

Based in Johannesburg, she was previously a director and lead analyst in the Financial Services Ratings team. Her coverage spanned the broad financial services including banks, market financial infrastructure, asset managers, insurers, multilateral lending institutions, as well as sovereign ratings and Islamic Finance in Africa.<\/p>\n

Samira joined S&P Global Ratings in 2008 in London from the Montreal Exchange (TMX Group) where she was a market and credit risk analyst on derivatives instruments for several years.
