Since 2019, he has led the Group&#8217;s transformation and growth across a seven-country platform serving 1.6 million customers, of whom more than 600,000 are active micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses. Roughly half of Baobab&#8217;s customers are women, and around 70 per cent were unbanked before joining the Group.<\/p>\n<p>Baobab delivers credit, savings, payments and insurance through a hybrid model combining digital channels, agent networks and branches.
