Since 2019, he has led a seven-country platform serving 1.6 million customers\u2014including more than 600,000 active small businesses\u2014through digital channels, agent networks, and branches. Baobab disburses over $1.2 billion in new loans annually, manages more than $1 billion in assets, and employs 4,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>He previously led SME Banking at Equity Group Holdings (Kenya) and held several CEO and Board-level roles with the ProCredit Banking Group in Eastern Europe, Africa, and Latin America. He began his career at the EBRD\u2019s Russia Small Business Fund. His focus throughout has been on how finance can drive economic transformation and deliver better outcomes for all.
