His journey began in 2010 with the establishment of his first company, focused on asset-based financing, which evolved into a consumer finance provider. In 2015, he launched a market-leading financial services business, driving greater access to underserved communities. By 2017, he had expanded into financial technology and payments, recognizing the transformative potential of digital innovation. In 2021, he unified his ventures under the MNT-Halan brand, creating a comprehensive financial platform that combines lending, payments, and commerce.<\/p>\n
Today, MNT-Halan is the region\u2019s leading fintech and the fastest-growing lender in Egypt, having served over 8 million customers and issued over US$13 billion in loans, with a gross loan book totaling over US$1Bn in all its markets. The company has raised over US$560 million from international investors and recently expanded operations to Turkey, the UAE, and Pakistan.<\/p>\n
