He started his career in banking at Bank of Ireland, where he gained deep expertise across both IT and senior business roles for over 12 years. This solid foundation provided excellent insights into the complexities and opportunities in banking and payments. This inspired Fintan to set up a start-up business during the “Dot.Com” era, launching a technology-driven financial services business in London, where he gained a valuable Fintech perspective.<\/p>\n
During the next phase of his career, he built and led global teams at both NCR and TNS where among other achievements Fintan led the eCommerce payment gateway business known as “MIGS”. In 2014, he led its successful acquisition by Mastercard and continued to lead Mastercard’s MPGS business in EMEA for three impactful years.<\/p>\n
Renowned for his strategic insights and leadership, Fintan joined CR2 as CEO in 2017, where he continues to drive digital transformation and innovation.
